D-Robe Outdoors

When we were first contacted by Chika Russell at the very beginning of 2020 we were instantly excited by Chika enthusiasm for D-Robe. Chika is a highly successful business women who owns the Nigerian snack brand Chikas. So the move in to apparel is somewhat unexpected, but what we instantly realised about Chika was when she had an idea in her head she would stop at nothing to turn it into a reality. Starting a business post Brexit and mid pandemic so no mean feat, but despite all this, last week D-Robe launched.

We had the absolute pleasure to be deeply involved in almost every part of the brand set up. What started as a logo design job quickly became a trim development job and ended up with the studio helping with marketing strategy, photoshoot concepting and colour palette refining.

Focusing on the jackets practicality, stylish enough for the city, with the utility you need for the country we developed a pallet and branding system that reflected this. More products will be hitting the website soon, and we’re extremely happy to say we’ve already been called back in to help with the next stage of the brands development.
