We are Tala
We started working with Tala just a couple of months back, and it really is exciting to see what can be achieved when a brand strips away unnecessary process. We were originally contact by Tala to help with a bit of apparel graphic work. A fun quick project, which was turned around so quickly that it was in and out of stock before we even realised they’d had samples back, a true testament to how swiftly a company can act if they so wish. Ive got to say I was pretty pleased with the result, and although a relatively simple graphic the factories execution of our artwork was flawless.
Grace Beverly has achieved so much at such a young age, and you can see why when you’re in a meeting with her, she knows her mind and is fully aware how precious time is. No moments are wasted, which is a dream for a small but busy studio like ours.
We have continued to work with the team at Tala, on some apparel bits which will be online very soon, and also excitingly a logo tweaking. I refrain from calling it a redesign as that wasn’t the aim. Grace came to us with some issues she had with the original logo around the kerning. As we started to look into this further we also noticed quite a few things that weren’t ideal. The slightly awkward letter finishing, and some rather sloppy vector work. After a very brief chat we were all on the same page, and we set to work on a general tidy up of the logo. Which was almost instantly uploaded to Instagram and no doubt will make its way across all the other channels imminently.
